Panel Replacement
Panel replacement means removing the existing load center and installing a new one, then re-terminating every circuit into it. It is the job that unlocks most other electrical work, because a panel with no spare capacity blocks everything you might want to add.
The part homeowners rarely hear up front is that a replacement should begin with a load calculation, not a price. That calculation determines whether you need a like-for-like swap or a genuine service upgrade — and those are different jobs with different costs, because a service upgrade involves the utility, the meter and the service entrance conductors, not just the box on the wall.
